Thank you for choosing our Flat Mount “Heavy Duty” compatible with Starlink 3rd Gen. Its streamlined design ensures maximum protection for your Starlink dish while maintaining a low profile.

⚠ WARNINGS & Safety Information

• Before using the Flat Mount Case, carefully read this manual.

• This device is not certified for use on moving objects, such as cars or mobile homes. It is intended for stationary use only.

• Please pay attention to the specifications provided by Starlink in addition to the specifications we provide for the Flat Mount Case.

• Do not use the LinkGear Flat Mount near flammable materials or in an explosive atmosphere.

Installation - Important Information!

The bottom part of the Flat Mount must be secured using at least four M8 holes. Always use washers, and nyloc-nuts, and do not tighten nuts excessively (around 1.8 NM is our recommendation). You can mount the box at a slight incline to allow water to run off more easily.

After the bottom part of the Flat Mount is secured, attach the cable to your dish and put it into the flat mount while routing the cable in the respective cable channel. Add the top frame and use the screws to slowly and evenly tighten it down.

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS! 1.6 NM is the max recommended torque for tightening the screws that hold the top plate. Always use a torque wrench. Overtightening the screws will cause damage to the threads - this damage is not covered under warranty! 

Note: Given the diverse range of surfaces and conditions to which this Mount may be attached, it is ultimately the end user’s responsibility to ensure that the antenna mount is adequately and safely secured.

Operation

The dish should have a clear view of the sky from around 20° elevation (above the horizon), with a full 360° azimuth (rotation). 

Maintenance

Regularly check the mounting points and screws to ensure they are tight and secure. Inspect the case periodically for signs of wear or damage. Clean the case with a mild soap and water solution when necessary. Do not use any solvents. The surface may show scratches. This has no impact on function and is a purely cosmetic effect.
