Important Compatibility Note (HW rev 1.0)

A compatibility issue has been identified with certain compact routers, particularly those manufactured by GL.iNet. These routers lack galvanic isolation on WAN/LAN ports, which may trigger the protection mechanism in the 220W Step Up Injector.

Recommended Solutions

For GL.iNet Routers

Must be connected ONLY using a PoE splitter. We will provide an option to purchase a recommended kit. Using separate DC/DC converters is not currently supported.

We recommend using a PoE splitter to ensure compatibility and proper power supply to GL.iNet routers. This is currently the fastest and easiest way to avoid potential issues.

PoE Routers, Access Points, or Cameras (802.3AT/AF compatible)

Can be connected directly to the 220W Step Up Injector using only a LAN cable. The device will receive power directly from the injector.

Non-PoE Routers

A suitable PoE splitter or an appropriate DC/DC converter can power the device.
